Kelly Nash was raised in Davie Florida Davie, which lies situated just outside Fort Lauderdale. Kelly Nash spent her childhood boating and fishing alongside her father Ed Nash. Kaitlyn Nash is her sister and Carolyn Nash is her brother. Kelly Nash is of English and Irish origin. She is also Swedish. Her great-grandfather was a Portuguese immigrant, came to America from Portugal.

 Kelly Nash was a huge fan of the Miami Marlins since she was young. Although Nash was always interested in sports, she dreamed of being a journalist. In 2006, Kelly Nash graduated from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina with the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies. She then graduated from Clemson with a Master's Degree in Youth Development Leadership in 2009. She had received a full athletic scholarship from the Clemson Athletic Department in exchange for covering their soccer and Baseball teams in the Sports information Department Career

 Kelly Nash is MLB Network studio host and hosts several shows on the network including the evening highlights program, Quick Pitch. She is also an NHL Network Studio host, Participating on the Nightly Game recap Show, On The Fly. The NHL Network hired her to join the MLB Network in March 2015. In the year 2015 she began her contribution to the NHL Network.
